“Mighty Drives with Minimal Force.”The history of our
game-changing technology.

TIMELINE

1985

AXEL-I, AXEL-II

With a concept of “lightness” that maximizes the power that golfers possess, the club was sold at two different weights.
AXEL-I was the lightest in the world at that time, at 260 g.

AXEL-I, AXEL-II

1987 AXEL CERAMIC I

1988

AXEL METAL

It used metal material that was only used in expensive models.
It became popular as a lightweight metal club that anyone could swing.

1991 AXEL GOLD

1992 AXEL PRO METAL

1993 AXEL BP-1

1994

AXEL-III TITAN

Tsuruya's first titanium driver.
It was lightweight, easy to swing through, and became a massive hit thanks to the low cost achieved by integrated manufacturing and sales.

AXEL-III TITAN

1995 AXEL GOLD TITAN

1996

AXEL-II FORGED TITAN

It used high-strength SP-700 titanium. A further weight reduction was achieved.
In addition, the integrated forging of the face and neck gave an excellent feeling of impact.

AXEL-III TITAN

1999

AXEL-I TITAN

Achieved an ultra-light weight of 243 g through the integral molding of the thin face and body.

AXEL-III TITAN

2001

AXEL FORGED β

AXEL-I, II and III were integrated into one model. This made it possible to choose from three different levels of lightness.
The unified theory of deflection curves was also used to make easy golfing possible by stabilizing the swing.

2005

AXEL DUAL IMPACT

A new theory to control head vibration at the moment of impact was quickly introduced.
This transferred the energy of the head to the ball to the maximum extent, making it possible to increase the carrying distance.

2011

AXEL GX

A high quality highly elastic shaft was used throughout the entire length.
Coupled with the dual impact theory, it allowed golfers to bring out the full potential of the carrying distance they could achieve.

AXEL GX

2012 AXEL BL

2013

AXEL XP

The innovative “core” theory on core energy was adopted.
This produced the heretofore unimaginable world's first club to allow the golfer to hit with the true core of the entire club.
